Friday Freak Says: Three Different Valentines Day movies

Its that time of the year when everyone has the write to be mushy all over again! However cliche be the day, there is something about Valentine's Day that makes one swoon and want to fall in love all over again. Well, for those lucky ones who have someone to snuggle to during this coldish season, here's the top three movies you should watch on Valentine's Day.
(3) Ghost: After there was Dirty Dancing, Patrick Swayze didn't have much to do until he somehow came onto Ghost, which starred Demi Moore and (the) Whoopi Goldberg. Surely a gold standard casting coup then, and a unfortunately impossible coup now.

However, most will remember this movie for the infinitely popular romantic Pottery scene and the song, that still makes everyone go mushy.  What worked for the movie was that it was quite a different story, and what makes it into this list is that it wasn't the run of the mill man loves woman, woman loves man, there is misunderstanding and they get out of... no. This was a movie that actually had a storyline and script that made a person think and believe that love truly exists!

(2)Titanic: Love it, hate, it, abhor it, but you will agree that Titanic had a script and storyline that is a real rarity in the film industry. What worked for this movie was not the enormity of the entire thing, it was just that the viewers had seen a love story set in somewhere after a very, very long time.

And not to mention the revelation of two new faces, who would go on to become overnight stars and then get back their celebrity status due to their sheer acting hacks. This is one movie that makes me think about whether Love actually can make such things happen. And who can forget the song?

(1) Oceans Series: OK, read the topic, its Very Different Valentine's Movies. This movie has been one of my personal favorites in all aspects, be it a romantic comedy, or a thriller, or even a simple con movie. What works for this movie is the simple fact that George Clooney and Brad Pitt seems to be chosen by the Almighty to be partners in crime, and omg, there's Julia Roberts!

For those who still do not get why this movie comes into the top romantic books, think about it. All George Clooney did was to get Julia Roberts back, now, what else is gonna be romantic than that?
